yeah but you gotta think that his video looks like it is only filmed in a few days and making a good wakeskate part in a few days is pretty tough and not too many people were kickflipping ewhen he had his part in free 4 all but if you look at the end credits on the dvd he does a ungrabbed toesdie shovit which i think he messed up on but it was still pretty cool |

You know, I don't know how long he had to film. All I can remember is Mark Bame talking about how crazy it was to pick up JD and Tim from school to go and shoot their parts.
Anyway, Tim may be sketchy, but that's just Tim and everyone has their own style. I just prefer someone like cole munster. In linear, he makes everything look so easy and I dont' think he ever dragged a hand on any of his tricks. For me, he just makes it look fun. But that's not to say I dont' enjoy tim's riding; I love his fountain ollie in linear and his frontslide boardslide on that "rollercoaster rail" or whatever you want to call it. As for the "not to many people were kickflipping at that time" comment, I guess I can't remember how many were doing it. However, Tim was one of the first wakeskaters to make one, so theoretically his should be somewhat better than most. Does that make sense? But it's funny, his kickflip in linear looked exactly the same as his kickflip in free4all (he was on different boards, so I'm not trying to imply anything).
Unfortunately, I don't have the free4all dvd and I probably never will, so I wasn't able to see the toeside shoveit. All they had in the video was a wake to wake 3 that he fell on and I think a kickflip he fell on. Was this shoveit wake to wake or just a re-entry deal? If it was wake to wake, that would be dope because I dont' think I've seen a wake to wake toeside shoveit that was ungrabbed. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I don't know when he's coming back, but he is riding. About two months ago there was an update on the cassette site that cole went riding with Thomas. And the last I had heard, he was still considered to be a part of the cassette family. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Outside of the cassette site, I heard about cole from a friend. I'll never give up more information than that, so you can take that post for what it's worth. Believe it or not, it really isn't a big deal to me because there are so many people that gossip on messageboards anyway (twsnow.com and sack lunch are prime examples).
Mianus, huh? You're one clever little jackass.... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
