mac vs pc

Ive been a PC user all my life up until about 5 months ago. I went out and bought a Macbook Pro. I was just like the rest of the "mac haters" until i used one for myself. OSX is so easy to use its amazing. My mom is computer illiterate and even she can use my laptop pretty efficiently.

The only good thing about PCs is the software available for them. EVERYTHING is made for macs.. In order to counteract that, the new intel-based macs can run both windows and osx. Best of both worlds if you ask me.

i love macs and they are so easy to run, and they will never fail, unlike the pc we have.

by the way, read an pc world magazine at work the other day. It had a showdown between OSX, Vista, XP and Linux. And OSX was rated either great or excellent in every aspect. From simplicity to tools. And this was in a PC magazine.

any 2 button mouse will work with a mac and function with a right click as long as you set the preference. In fact the mouse that they sell now is a two button mouse but looks like a one button mouse. you have to set the preference to act like a two button mouse and the sensor underneath the plastic can tell the difference between right and left clicks.

nate-o, i have a mouse for mine but never use it.. i love the two finger feature on the trackpads.. two fingers plus a click and theres your 'right click'. haha i love it.

Ive been using PCs since they came out. While macs are great, if you game there is no comparison.

skatewake41, haha i have everything for my macbook pro.. final cut studio..adobe cs2 package.. macromedia 8 package.. microsoft office package..so yeah.. like over 6g on my lap right now and i couldnt be happier

i used to be a PC user, never really used a mac, then i decided what i wanted to do in life (multimedia design).

I went and bought an iMac g5 with intel processor, mmm.
so happy with it i bought a MacBook, dual intel, mmmmmmmmm.

nah i love my macs. in saying that, i use them for purely graphics/design/photography.

my 24" iMac kicks ass. so easy to use. and hey, vista's features are pretty much a copy of OS X.
all i hear from PC users is "oh man, vista is so good, they got liek this 3d flippy thing where you can see all your apps at once, all new windows mail and windows calendar, stuff thats never been done before! and liek this thing called instant search and even these things called gadgets! its the best! Mac OS X is shite!"
