I skate, snowboard, snowskate, mountainboard, etc, and thought it would be sweet to get into wakeskating. I was wondering if people like to use fins or not. I wanna go towards the more technical side of tricks with rails and boxes and i was wondering what might be the best, fins or no fins?

some do some dont. you should try skating with fins, then try skating with 1 fin, after that try no fins at all. See what you think

I like no fins, but that is me. You should try what hammer49 said to do. Everyone is different.

no fins equals loose and less control for less advanced riders
fins has lots of traction
1fin is idealy the best of both but to me it means tricks will be different depending on wat side ur riding so i ride finless

either way u go, practise poping ur tricks or u wont get full credit and if u post any pics on here ull get chewed for no pop

Fins. I recommend them if you are just starting. It definetly will give you more stability.

i my first few times were on fins on my k-39 but when i got my cassette it came with 2.1 fins so i jus left them off. it was soooo much better finless, in my opinion.

It is pretty fun to ride with one fin, just to switch back and forth. It's not like you are going to ride that long without falling anyway (unless you are Nick Taylor). I'm actually going to put more effort into riding finless this season and getting tech tricky eh. Wake to wake is still the secks but my interests change with the seasons.
