-=AlexXx=-,

Its all in the hips. Use your hips to rotate and hold that handle close to you and by your waist. Really it just takes practice. Just concentrate on doing some fs boards during each run, but don't commit your whole run to it. Just throw it in once and a while and after you practice practice you'll have it down no problem.

So you can 360 shuv but cant do a front board on the lip?? Laughing

Laughing

do what vance said and try having your upper body stading straight and tall. Also you must NOT put too much weigh on your toes cause that will make your ass pop back and your upper body bend: "assume the position" position if u like Laughing

Put weight on your heels until you fall backwards so you know how much you can go. For the best front boards u need to be at the limit of falling backwards

That is actually a really good tip. Once you get more comfortable, you will be able to do more with the rope, but when learning the trick, keeping the rope in close and at your hip makes it much easier.

when just riding behind the boat you can have your arm holding the handle extented so you can relax a bit, less tension on your arm.

But as soon as you want to do a trick you need to pull on that arm and keep the handle as close as you can, so that if shizzle hits the fan you can always extend your arm and get a little rope slack, and having the rope close to you throughout the trick helps a ton for balance.

also, in snap they talk a lot about moving the handle towards the boat, and away from the boat and shizzle... I don't think that works that well, just keep the handle close to you and focus on being comfortable while sliding

Alex,

I believe seeing the move will better help you visualize yourself doing it. Hopefully this can help you out! There's a pic that can help you with feet, body, handle position etc, and theres a small video to help you. Good Luck!
(I actually kinda tweek it a little past a front board, I don't know what its called, but its fun.)

It's sweet in sfumato when Leatherman tweaks his front board like all the way...

cool!

for staying on the lip you need to balance your weight, more on front foot to go more towards the wake, back foot to go away. But you prolly knew that already Very Happy
