|
|
Alright here's the deal, over my March break my parents have agreed to let me go to any resort out west. It doesn't matter where, I can choose anywhere in the west because the plane tickets are free. I know a lot of people on here snowboard and ski, so I was just looking for opinions because I have no idea where to go. I'm looking for a good park, and powder runs (but easy accessible because it would be my first time there). So far I'm thinking Mammoth, because they have tons of snow and the best park. Just wanted to get some opinions, because I have to make this decision pretty soon. _________________ www.sattelyte.com

Vail is fun. They have decent everything. The bowls are alright, and blue sky basin is backcountyish except with a lift. The park is probably good too, though when i go out west, i dont ski much park because i'm too amused with all the things that i can't get where i live. Plus with you lift ticket you can go to beaver creak, and keystone i think.
I'm sure where ever you go will be fun though, so don't worry about it too much. |

Alright thanks for the recommendations. I'll look into Vail. Park and the back bowls seem pretty good. Anyone been to toher places this year they'd recommend? _________________ www.sattelyte.com

March = Park riding. Go to where the best park is...... _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

If there's one thing to know, it's stay the flip away from the northwest this season, we have had 30 percent of what we get in a regular season... _________________

your best bet would ba mammoth or the tahoe area. We have all the snow that the northwest(sorry el) didn't get, and then some |

Dude go to heavanly, squaw or alpine they have some of the best parks in the tahoe area. Mammoth is off the hook but a lot of their park is set up for someone that has expert park skill. Big Bear and Mammoth are off the hook places. I would have to say Alpine Meadows cuz i have to if u know what i mean. _________________ www.norcalwake.com |

I can't get a flight with the points into Reno (which is where you fly into to get to Tahoe/Mammoth correct?), so I'll probably end up flying into denver and going to Breck of Vail. Thanks for the input though _________________ www.sattelyte.com

ya doin that is a good idea cause like they said one lift ticket works for breck, vail, beaver creek... and all their parks should be loaded during that time of year... vail's backside isnt too good unless they get snow but i've never been there in the spring so i guess i wouldnt know... _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |

if you are going to vail, make sure to check out blue sky basin. Lots of exposed rocks and smaller cliff drops and lots of fun. |
