Fisheye lens

Just ordered a fisheye lens for my DV cam!

it's a Century Optics .3X Ultra Fisheye Adapter

Anyone that's tried it or seen films made with it can gimme some input?

they make the film look really cool for skating i know, i dont know about wakeskating, never tried it for that. and they are fun to put over your eye and walk around

ya, they use them alot for skateboarding.. ive seen some videos where they used them on a tube behind a boat filming w2w tricks, looked pretty rad, but thats it.

I don't think I could ever duct tape my fisheye on... They're about $2000 AU new.

Fisheye's are nice... although you will get tired of it quick, i rarely use mine when shooting wake stuff. i would reccomend a high quality wide angle. it also really depends on what camera you are using.

Just remember this, your camera is only as good as the lens you use. i have seen guys with a $75 lenses on a dvx-100a... and these are the idiots that ask why thier footage looks like crap.

Sfumato uses it when they take the tube shots, it looks cool when a follw cam aspect is going on.
