They are huge factors when you are experienced and are doin more technical tricks, but when you were a beginner, did you say, "Wow. This board has realy crappy grip tape and the edges are practically round."? Or did you just take it like a man and keep riding? _________________ Go Lake Sammamish, Bake's Marine Center, and me. |

skatethewake, i agree with u totaly, the board my help u a little, but ur not gunna be able to kickflip in a week just cuz u buy a integ or anyother expesive board, it might help u in the long run, but its not gunna instantly make u a pro even though that big suck up may think so, u will get better and better on no matter what u use i believe. The grip and rails arent gunna do that much for ya if u are just begginer. |

I guess if you were good at wakeboarding, you would know and feel diferences in rails, but many first-time wakeskaters are just pickin up a skate for their first time on the water. _________________ Go Lake Sammamish, Bake's Marine Center, and me. |
