Jacob,
I knew that they would be shipped to us unassembled. Our problem was that we were trying to decide how to ship them out to customers. After debating over it for a while and actually speaking to Thomas, we decided to also ship them to customers unassembled. We thought it would be best for the rider to see how the equipment works while they put their decks together. We also thought that it would be safer to ship that way.

Did your decks come with an instruction manual? The boards aren't supposed to be assembled or gripped. It's up to the consumer to learn more about the decks and be more in touch with what it's all about (like skateboarding).

Same with the grip--by leaving it off, it allows for more creativity and customization.

also, even if and when thomas moves to miami, it's highly unlikely that they will move their factory down there.
