Andy,
Try this, cut outside the wake heel side hard. pull your arms to get a little slack and to slow her down but not too much. Now go for a big ollie and practice turning toward the boat a little, like an ollie shifty. Then strap on a big pair and this time pop that mf and turn the board inside all the way so that you complete the 180. Lean back too you don't want to fall in between your board and the boat. Don't worry about the handle pass that will come casually. Good luck. _________________ dbanana wrote:

DO NOT GET SLACK IN THE ROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you may think that this makes it easier but once you start doing better tricks its going to f@#@# you up cause when the slack gets tight it pulls you over the front, alsowhen you have rope tension it is consistant and if your going to slip out the rope is right there to pull on to help keep you up |

TTUFAN24, if u know what a frontside 180 is, its the exact opposite, u turn a 180 but u do it the other way so u end up with yout back to the boat u either land wrapped or pass the handle. |

Yeah but -=AlexXx=-, doing them like bs surface 180 actually helped me to get the feel for the spin and the handle pass. After a few you should be able to pop them lika a regular ollie. andy ross, if you having trouble getting the handle pass, just tictac out at first attempts then pull the handle a little bit harder and you shouldn't have problems getting the handlepass. Cut out, flatten, pop the board, turn your head (and lead the spin with your head), pull the handle to the small of your back and pass the handle. Make sure you have slightly more weight on your toeside edge when you land because it helps you from slippin out.
Good luck. _________________ _____________________________
