electricsnow, YES, you just made my day!!! Port Hacking the original home of steez(Hackos), Grant (Get rid of the fins!) Gettens the original true finless rider, and Marshall Harrington, the original monkey spin strapper, old school photos are tizzight.

satori*, deep water on a snow board is possible about as hard as gettiin up on a trick ski turned into a wakeskate Laughing

electricsnow, Were they able to pull off any tricks or even an ollie with it? All I could do on a skateboard deck was edge around. Felt kinda cool with the foot in the water...well not really.

ThomasN, I'm not sure, but I think it would be damn hard to do anything on something with so little surface area.

Kento911, YES! I love all of that cordial stuff, and marshall harrington is legendary (in my eyes). Everyone gives credit to corey kraut for bringing corked spins to wakeboarding, but it was really marshall that did it first (although corey is sick, and he certainly popularized things here).

but I remember when I first saw anything with marshall and his spins (a launch mag from 97) and I was so psyched that someone figured out how to do corked spins on a wakeboard. And they weren't "kind of "corked, they were totally on a different axis. Sweet success!

Word to that, anyone remember on my first few days on here I had a picture of a trick ski with some grip tape thrown on it.

electricsnow, yeah, no offence to Cordell, he certainly brought it to the U.S. shores, but if were talking first gotta back Marshall Harrington, definatly full off axis, and clean.
