i think cable would get more respect and recognition if there were more cable parks. i have never been to one so i don't know what it is like. i live in mississippi, so it would be a pretty long drive to get to one.

wcwakeskater, there are ALOT of cable parks in the world. But its just now getting bigger in America, there are already so many more being planned, one Kansas will be open soon, supposedly one in Tampa, give it 5-10 more years, you will see.

Cable's are very big, just not as much in America, and it doesnt help it anymuch by what you see on online forums or of other peoples opinions. In Germany, cable is well respected by alot of people, I dont know if statistically I can say more then America, but just by seeing how many they have, and what a short riding season they have, can really tell you something. I am pretty sure alot in Germany have to be closed for winter, and I DO know, it can get REALLY cold there, that even with a really good wetsuit (i dont know anything about dry suits) you will be freezing, from what I have been told by people that have went.

Just remember, cable is ALOT of fun when you try it, more so when you start getting the hang of it and getting around if you have trouble at first.

The parks in Germany are closed from Oct./Nov. till April/May. Same in Switzerland, where we have only 1 park.
And, in the late and early season, you need at least a wetsuit.

Cable is growing REALLY fast in the US, watch and see in 5-10 years.

Whoever was at cable worlds can tell ya as well, ALOT of people, and not just competetors...let alone in Austria in September, I am not exactly sure what even it was, but a world one, not champianships though...but from people that i know that went, told me. There were THOUSANDS of people, they said they never rode for more people...
That should tell ya something...

Frye,
I went to Malaysia (east coast) and Indonesia (Sulawesi, Java, Bali and Lombok) a few years ago, but I cannot remember if November-December is a good season?
I'm looking for a spot to spend 1-2 weeks. Where is your cable-park in Indonesia? Someone told me that there's a beautiful spot in Bali? Near Kuta/Legian?
Thanks in advance!

Oh, and btw, great dockstart pic man!
