Picked up a DJI Phantom 3 advanced after they dropped the price because of the release of the 4. It's like playing a wakeskate video game. Especially when Nick T is your character!

I tried to post this from Li-ion_slaysher but I forgot the password. Either way, I'll keep buzzin these fools and you guys will just have to deal with my iMovie edits haha

Great Flying TJ!

I built one a year ago but no/gimbal so the panning shots I can get are limited.

I am also running a much smaller quad than the phantom.
Phantom = 55 quad on 10'' props Im running a 330 with 6''

So my top end is faster but my flight time is reduced when the gopro is on it.

Hoping to get out and fly it more this summer.

Few shots with it here

No gimbal or post stabilization. Pretty stable flight.

I want to order the F450 DJI frame and put a gimbal on it so I could fly either and make my 330 into a fpv racer.

-=AlexXx=-, Yeah I was a bit nervous to fly any closer to the windmill. That shot was during a backwind of about 10-15mph

I just got the thing so I am still working on those autonomous flight modes. It weirded me out coming from a piloted platform.

The field shot was in Follow me mode- Orbit
The Windmill shot was in Follow me mode - free look (really cool you dont fly the drone technically, it moves in sequence with the follow and the only stick that is active controls the gimbal and the drone together to make it look around like a fixed turret or heli/cam)
the 3dr is really more of a filming tool than anything else.
