I bought a Hitcase for my iPhone. I followed their instructions and tried it in a swimming pool. It totally leaked and my phone was trashed. They told me to send the case back so they could test it. Then they said the case tested to be fine, so they won't do anything for me. Obviously I was very careful when I tried it for the first time, and somehow water still got through. They say that you can't test the case without a phone because it only seals tight with the pressure of a phone. So basically, you need to risk your phone when you try the case. I highly suggest if anyone is considering one of these, to forget about it.

That's unfortunate man. Sorry to hear that. When I owned an iphone I found the lifeproof cases reliable and ergonomic. If you muster up the courage to try again maybe give one a go.

I've been using a hitcase for about a year taken it wakeskating a dozen times and its never leaked, sorry about your phone dude everytime I take it in the water I'm nervous but it's always holds it seal. Yea you cant test it without a phone because the screen cover is sealed by the pressure of holding the phone.

yeah lifeproof comes with a piece of plastic in the shape of an iphone to test it with...
