Now that the weather is getting back to a somewhat normal wakeskate friendly routine what's everyone doing to prepare for this season. Dragging out the old shoes, cleaning carbs on the john boat, changing plugs on the ski, trying to decide on a new skate? What's new for everyone this year. I just picked up a fresh pair of Vans canvas and I'm about to water treat them for the year. I prefer vans after trying just about every brand and finding that the glue they use actually holds for longer then a year after constant soaking and drying. A new skate is in my near future but old habits are hard to break. Felt like ws.com needed a kickstart. _________________ http://www.elevatedclothingco.com/ |

I give them two or three coats of some water repellant from Walmart just the normal stuff they make for shoes, I feel like it helps them last a little bit longer _________________ http://www.elevatedclothingco.com/ |

Trying to figure out on which new wakeskate I am getting, and hitting the new cable near me in Miami.
It's so hard choosing a new skate due to all the great companies out there now. |

I'm pumped and at that crossover point to spring. I've got one last weekend of snowboarding, and have been thinking about how i need that new drysuit. I've also got a watermonster wakeskate to try for the spring. I've been on a tao and loved it, but really want to try something else. I look forward to getting back on the water, for sure. Hopefully that will happen in a month. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Just moved apartments. I'm now an hour from TSR and an hour and a half from BSR. I'm about to buy a new TAO with this tax return, and then it's game time. |
