I live directly on the beach on lake michigan and was wondering what people do to keep their jet ski/small boat on the beach. One of the neighbors has a giant zodiac that he uses a small motor and a winch to pull up the beach but I don't need something that heavy duty. I was thinking maybe a hand winch would work or a plywood sled that would slide on the beach pretty easy (in my head)
Any other ideas/experiences _________________ Skeight Junk |

Got any photos of the shoreline? If it's mellow enough of an angle, you could arrange 2 HDPE pipes & a hand winch sort of like a stationary trailer. Drive it up on (maybe with a soft bumper in front in case you come in a little hot), & then crank it the rest of the way on...

I need to pull it up toward that sea wall in front of my house, I would imagine I can just lay a few pipes in a row and then once it is up on the last set of pipes, I can just move the rest so they aren't in anybody's way. Pound a 4x4 pipe into the sand with a hand winch by the sea wall and boom.
We don't really have tides so I don't have to worry about it being washed away either _________________ Skeight Junk |

koozballs, Dude! That is a beautiful perch
POPTART, It's bizarre to think that the same species that figured out how to record HD video & transmit it instantly across the globe with strings of 1s & 0s also managed the extreme levels of mental deficiency required to make that clip happen... Humans are truly incredible
