SOOOOO Stoked to announce that there is a Cable Park coming to Rockford, IL!!!
West Rock Cable Park is in full swing & even though the install got delayed because of weather, the plan is still to open THIS MONTH!!
I have been consulting with the owners since the projects early talks & let me tell you, they have done their homework & there are big things coming from this place in the near future.

Looks like you have a couple of 2.0's set up.

What are you hours going to be? Do you plan on only being open to the public two days out of the week like the other 2.0's in the Midwest? Because that straight up sucks.

I have to chime in about the hours--just know that they would probably not be profitable if they were open every day. Attendance at Nordic is spotty right now--sometimes they've got a number of riders, other times it's very few. The big thing is if anyone wants these sites to stick around, go out and ride at them. Someone has been telling me about the Rockford park so it would be cool to potentially make it down. Nordic is just closer for me.

so cool seeing all these cables pop up giving a much needed aid to the average ailing wakeskater who just can't get out as much as he needs to.

good luck on the pulls at the new spot...... Birthday Birthday Birthday

Yeah TWO 2-towers. One will have a kicker, wide box, rooftop, & pipe rail. The other will be featureless (for now).

Plan is to be open every day. With the location in Rockford, the hope is to also draw that Chicago & Madison crowd. And since they have partnered with the Park District, there will be a push for camps & other activities thru them.

Hopefully you all come & check it out.
