They changed the format a lot this year and it seems really cool. I know the past two years only a couple of pros entered. I'm surprised because how much money they have on the line.

I'm betting a nollie would take the Double Up contest Smash

Would love to see more wakeskaters enter this year and I'd be stoaked for a skater to take video of the year

looks like the double up is wakeboard and wakeskate against each other. kinda lame Neutral

walaka, just means the wakeskaters have to use the board to their advantage. shuvs, kickflips, finger flips, board varials, bigspins, late shuvs... all the stuff that wakeboarders cant do.

Think of Hampsons HUGE front big out the flats in his Graceland edit, that going off the double up should give the "spin to win" 1080/1260/dizzy dancer a run for Tiges money.

Besides, how many wakeskaters do you see riding boat and of that number how many are hitting double ups?

i love seeing wakeskters hitting double ups. I just think wakeboarders are going to be biased and vote for 1080's.

Here is some more information on the categories offered for wakeskating.

Is there an entry fee?

-No, the Tige MyWake Global Challenge is 100% free to enter.

If my contest is timed, when does the timer start?

-The clock starts as competitor starts first trick.

Do I have to wear a life jacket?

-Yes, all video submissions must wear a U.S Coast Guard- Approved life vest or a vest that will absolutely float contestant who is unconscious. A “Wet Suit” vest must have a locking device in addition to the zipper closure. A “Pull Over” or “Side Entry” vest must have a locking device, zipper, or a drawstring.

Can I hit rails in the video?

-Yes and No. You can absolutely do some rail riding for Best Cable Trick, Wakeskate Best Towed Rail Trick, MyWake Video of the year. Rails are not allowed for other contests.

Can I use a winch in the video instead of a boat?

-Yes and No. You can absolutely use winch for the Best Cable Trick & MyWake Video of the year. Winch is not allowed for other contests.

Can I be on a cable in the video instead of a boat?

-Yes and No. You can absolutely use cable for the Best Cable Trick & MyWake Video of the year. Cable is not allowed for other contests.

Who is Judging?

-Pro videos will be judged by a panel of WWA judges to determine the best overall runs.

-Amateur videos will be judged by Team Tige Pro riders.

-The exposure Meter will have up to 30% impact on your score. Check out individual contest details for exact percentages.

How do I know who wins?

-Winners will be announced online, in newsletters, and on AllianceWake.com.

I entered a couple of years ago. It was dumb at that time. Am riders won for their month and that was it. Nice to see they are changing it up a bit.

July 7th-11th
