I was coming on to make this thread. Glad is already up. Its scary cuz most of us down here in Palm Beach have hit that gap.... Could have been anyone. Recently ive retired from hitting gaps... not worth it to get hurt on a cinder brick or anything.... this further supports my retirement.

This is tragic. 23 years old. I didn't know him that well, but every time I ran into him he made me laugh. Thinking of him and his family. This could have been any of us.

I never personally had a chance to meet Lance, but first off god bless and rip brother. Lance has been a shredder for sometime from the media ive been seeing of him, a real tragedy for his age.

As -=AlexXx=- said this gap has been hit well over a hundred times I imagine, all it takes is that one time unfortunately.....the gaps and places people of the wake community are hitting these days are mind boggling, as well as everyone's local shred spots. Please be safe and use yalls noggin too evaluate the what-ifs of the spots you hit.

learn from this guys, don't let your brothers death go in vain. Some of these gaps the pros are hitting are fiznackling stupid..they leave no room for mistakes. Do your research guys, wear a helmet, and just be careful. This shizzle is real. I am so sorry and my heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved him..he sounded like an amazing kid.

Totally unbelievable. I checked out some news video on youtube and the area looks deceiving, and you become aware of the current once you're under water.

I'm pretty sure lance was originally from illinois. He was a member of this site. He is in my thoughts, and i hope everyone out there stays safe.

Last night after reading this I got a call at 3am from my twin brother who had just totaled his truck, he was literally inches from hitting a huge oak dead on, the cop on the scene said hes had numerous people die from hitting that oak where people miss the stop at a 3way. Taking people for granted that theyll always be there every day you wake up is bs, always treat your loved ones like its the last time you'll see them. Take care and be safe everyone
