Looks like Grubb is switching to wood.

New Byerly boards.

From what I've seen, BT and Byerly's boards seem to be thick like Remotes.
I tried reading the text. It looks like Bret and George's boards will be just wood, while BT and Byerly's boards will have sintered bases and ABS sidewalls.

I wonder if Hyperlite and Byerly boards are going to keep making compression molded skates.

Butch posted a cool shot of a grubb skate he was helping shape/design, and it was wood. It was on instagram. I think he's an interesting guy to follow.

Jami reed posted a sneak peek of two obscura graphics that look woodburned and super detailed. I'm looking forward to seeing what they release. Same for remote, of course.

It's nice to see hyperlite try and step it up with a board like that catalyst. It might help alter the image of that brand to some riders.

And they ride really nice too. Love mine. I've learned more on it than any other board. Probably a mindset change more than any other reason...

puckhead, that's what it's all about. When you find a board you feel comfortable and confident on, i think it really helps with progression.

Holy shiiiiiit there are some awesome graphics this year (not that first one, WTH is that?) I reallllly dig that BT lion deck (heck, the Byerly one is awesome too, I just like lions in general). They all look great and I really like the entire Virtue line.

I can't make Surf Expo this year due to gettin married, anyone going who can give a report on how those Byerly decks look?

I've been needing a new skate for a while, looks like my decision might be harder if I want something new Shocked (Remote is still top of my list though)

Looks like the top of a bald mans head... What do you guess it is? I can't wait to see if they added a board size this year. Like a 39" so they'll have 38.5-41 every half inch. Smash

That deck looks so good.
But I don't think it will be the fall graphic. It's a shop collaboration and I doubt other shops would want to bring it in.

I'm hoping josh gets a size too. A 39" in the line up would be sick.
