This is my 3rd year wakeskating and even though I'm getting really good on board control both switch and regular, and starting to work tricks in the flats...I still get no air off of the wake. I just don't get the progressive edge/stand tall thing?

Can you guys easily get w2w on a jet ski's wake or is that something only the pros are pulling off on a seadoo Wake ski?

geissap, https://vimeo.com/41656987
Watch the jet ski sections in this video. That is how you ride behind a ski. Go inside out, NOT w2w...

you can do w2w on a ski. I do it behind my Waverunner. like jdarr said just shorten the rope a bit and extend it as you get better. if you are having a hard time getting any air off the lip, first learn to get some air off regular waves outside the wake and the w2w will come with more board control in the air

Yes in all the "real" vids all the pros are going i/o behind the ski. Its fun either way, and im pretty sure hes was asking if you can go W2W, not which is more legit.

Have fun with it. Do something different.

w2w behind a ski is possible but you just don't get the air/hang time you do behind a boat. In my opinion its almost like ollieing wake to wake rather than hiting the wake. Btw i/o start up rollers behind ski's are money! Wink
