After you do a backside big spin and your riding wrapped what do you call it when you basically pop it and rewind back to where you started? Some sort of backside reverse big spin?
Anyone? _________________ Bindings? We don't need no freaking bindings.... |

Zero.....Switch back bigs are not generally done with your arm wrapped behind you.....I think this makes it considerably more difficult and certainly makes you to a double take thinking wtf did he just do??????
TexasT.....I was driving and tanner was riding.....no one to take footy.... _________________ Bindings? We don't need no freaking bindings.... |

....but the trick is still just a switch back big.
if i do a back 180 and land wrapped instead of passing the handle I'm not gonna call the trick back 180 landing wrapped. its still just a back 180.
i get that it's a different way of doing it, but it's still a switch back big. you can't just make up a name or call it different cause you start with the handle differently on the same trick. _________________ Zero.

Well, you kind of do. There are wrapped tricks in wakeskating, but it's all pretty literal. There aren't any weird twister names or anything. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

-.- a back big spin is a back big spin, lets be serious.
do you consider a shuv and a pop shuv different?
* different in the sense that they are different tricks.... _________________ Zero.

very different.
Cori Cluster used to do a 3-shuv... but he couldn't pop it to save his life. _________________

I would say the only difference is adding the word "wrapped" or whatever. Nothing earthshattering.
And that shuv-pop shuv joke was funny! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Agreed.....much like doing a back big landing wrapped vs a back big and passing the handle....its still a back big.....but does not answer the question.

I disagree....starting the trick wrapped and unwinding from the previous trick is not a standard switch back big....at least not one that I have ever seen

yes if you are talking about on the water.....one of them is done correctly _________________ Bindings? We don't need no freaking bindings.... |
