I want to build a nice mellow incline rail kind of like the one the mutiny guys have. Can anyone give me any suggestions on a good length, build, width??? Help me out looking for suggestions, pics, etc. Thanks guys.

24', anything shorter you will get board of after a couple slides. 2x4's and trek decking (from HD or Lowes). Depending on the depth you are building depends on the length of lumber. Make sure there is around 3-4 feet in the ground and spaced no more than 4' apart. When you link everything together it will be sturdy.

Looks good, if it's a composite material it works. Just make sure to countersink the screws, so not to tear up the board.

I've used hollow trex like that. I found that it worked better to drill holes through the top part big enough for a screw head to to go through. Then you'll know for sure that no metal is exposed. Post up sum pics when your done.

This is how I build 'em these days. We can't get away with pounding anything in the ground. If you can make a decent cut with a skill saw, you can build a rail like this. We use 8 to 10 sandbags to hold it down. Make the feet at least 8 feet wide for stability. Long diagonal braces support the center of the rail so you only need two legs (easier to set that way, because two points are always in a straight (level) line, as opposed to three or more. Easily taken apart to bring it with us wherever we want. Just remove the legs and diagonal braces. This rail was at Nor-Cal convergence this Spring, now it's at our little winch spot in Booze County...
