TTUFAN24, you are right... it is more expensive than other wood decks. In my experience though, they are the best made wood boards I've ever seen (in terms of construction). I don't know if it's my favorite wakeskate shape though... I like the idea that Nick's board is a bit thinner, but a 38.5" is a much smaller board than I'm used to.

I'll stick to my earlier statement, it's a fair price for a board that will last.

I don't think most people are really crying about this, tad. Most people have brought up good points about the board and pricing in wakeskating in general that might give people something to think about.

Ultimately, I just think ttufan is used to his cwb lucky. Wink

And money will likely always be an issue. If it wasn't, I don't think remote would even bother with a flat deck.

electricsnow, I wish I still had my old CWB Lucky. That was the first board I ever bought/rode when my stoke was at an all time high. Thank you for that comment. Seriously brought back some good memories. It was better than the Hyperlite Gate I bought next. What a POS.

Edit: CWB Lucky was just over $100

I couldn't resist because you always make it seem like people are missing out. I just know I made fun of that board for the crappy graphic that included an 8 ball. But we don't buy our boards for the graphics!Smile

And I still need a nice looking gate.

End hijack!

tad, i did pay around 400 for my integrity, but that thing will probably last forever

i would never pay that much for a wood board especially when andrew would break a board every 2-3 weeks when he was on remote

Andrew also rode different boards. They started using moonshine after Andrew left. And I'm sure they recognized durability as an issipue. Otherwise they wouldn't have bothered with the new mfgr and construction method.

Garth: get over it man...live in the now!

I handle warranty claims for all kinds of wakeskates. Remote skate warranties have been pretty easy to deal with s far......I have had zero. First time out of a new factory and to have so little problems is great. I have dealt with wakeskate issues since 2004 and I have dealt with a bunch. Happy that the remote stuff has been made so well.

Are you talking about old or new versions?

I enquired about warrenty on my first gen remote from boardstop.
My email was ignored.

Similar thing when I contacted remote. Had an answer and request for pictures then nothing.

I know my situation is a little more complicated as I am an international customer but even an answer to say sorry you imported so no cover would have been nice.

electricsnow, TTUFAN24, I know what you mean about the CWB Lucky. I still miss the hell out of the first Byerly wood skate with the flag on it. Still hands down my favorite board that I have ridden. I wish they would run a re-release of that board. I'd pick up two. I'm all for progression and everything, but byerly's best skates were the first two, in my opinion. However, still love my OMEN!

This board looks great! The exposed wood grain has always been easy on the eyes and I love the re-musicnotes Laughing

i love how remote designed a skate with nick in mind (tho i think they take everyones input). nick needed something a little lighter and shorter and now remote has a sick skate to add to their quiver. it's great to see them adapt with their riders in mind Smash

i hope someone near me grabs one of these because i really want to see what that feels like under my feets

I am talking about the remotes that are made in the new factory. the old remotes came from Company wake and they handled all the warranty issues on the remotes made by company wake.
