Just got on the skate last year and have learned shuvs, 3 shuvs, 180 ollies, and stuff like that. But I don't feel like my Ollie is all that great. Maybe shin high, knee high at best I/O. Can someone break it down for me, and is there something other than my skateboard Ollie I should be doing?

Thanks in advance !

Pop it harder and really drag that front foot up as much as you can before you start to bring the back foot up with it. This will really keep the board close to you as you go higher. Sorry if you have already heard it, but hope it helps. Smile

i know this has also been said plenty before but trying to ollie over something might give you the push you need. you're bound to try something a little different with your technique if the obstacle is higher.

If you're trying to increase your i/o height, focus on cutting all the way through the wake and popping off of your edge.

Just go out and Ollie. Ive been riding a while and mine isnt huge. Sometimes I just have to go out and re teach myself. For sure finding a bouy or something will help. But board time is the key. More time and youll feel it better. Also Ben is a freak.

Interesting....I have always used the flat foot approach as well and was wondering if there is a better way....
