help with shuvs

i need help i have only gone out a couple of times mainley beocuse i left my k-39 in bay saint louis the whole summer and i live in new orleans...anyway I need to now everything like (where to do it, how, what i am doing wrong) i tried them a couple of times but it either flies away from me or it wont spin all the way, i think its becouse i am not poping it high eouge? not sure? any help would be appreciated

1: take off your fins
2: cut out side the wake w/ your wieght centered
3: bend your knees and level the board out
4: kick it around
5: land it
6: get back on the sight and tell me thank you Very Happy

cuz fins suck and are for losers... naw u should use a fin on the front so after u do a shuv it will be in the back and help u ride

back foot gives you the pop, front foot guides the board.

see what's going wrong when u try a shuv and correct the motion with the apropriate foot.

Cut out, pop, push back with your back foot and watch the board and step on it wiht your feet spread... do it with our without fins.

fins are cool and they help you get your board out of the water. if you learn your shuvs w/ fins youll be stronger and look alot better. i ride with one fin so sometimes i shuv w/ a fin and sometimes not. its good to do both

hammer49, i like u thinking. there is no right or wrong when it comes to fins but it is wrong to do suface shuvs! i personaly cant stand fins but i pop my shat.

it depends for fins or not. on my cassette flat deck i needed the fins but on my catalyst i do them w/o fins i havnt even put fins on that board. and dont yell at me for having a hyperlite im gettin a bi Very Happy

We don't yell at people for owning a hyperlite, it's when they argue in defense of hyperlites board quality with stupid things like "they have teh best riders liek bradon thomas and grubb!" Smash

Just make sure to pop it. I learned with fins on and then went finless.
