there's a shank or something to help make that shoe stiff for cycling. I saw a video and it's a lot stiffer than the first round of cadence shoes DVS made. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I think they look sick too, and of course I will be getting them. But I guess my point is I'm not sure how they'll feel for wakeskating with that stiffness in the foot. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

| They look a lot like the Obscura shoes they put out this season,, and they fell apart pretty fast for me. |

jeff, are you kidding?
they look nothing like the sandbars (no mesh , reinforced soles)
im looking at them for bike, not for wakeskating
the sandbars were a huge dissapoint imo
how can you even come out with a line like that after the cassette shoe
im a diehard dayton (and just dvs in general) fan , but they didnt even have to stick with that model as long as they kept the same materials and sole ...
that foam sole was the best thing that ever happened to a wakeskate shoe
( i rock it in my 6.0 mavriks) _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

Lollar, yeah u would
but seriously if it was the same person that made the cassette shoe then they were super inebriated when they did the sandbars
bring back the dayton cassettes! _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

I didn't get those cinelli shoes yet because they sold out of my size really quick. I need a 6 and right now the smallest size is a 7.5. They're more expensive than I thought they would be, so I'm holding out for the blacks.
The one thing I don't think worked well with the obscura convict is the "waxed" canvas. But the same goes for the cadence version with the same treatment. That material isn't as tough as I thought, sight unseen. Once you get a crack it really tends to peel. But aside from that, I really like the convict. The outsole is tougher and I like the feel of the shoe overall. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

oh
i thought you bought every cassette and every pair of dvs's ever?
wanted a review and some pics
lol
yeah they are pricey but i think if the sole is super stiff then they will be worth the extra 14 bucks (than the avg pair of dvs) _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

well, I do have all of the cassette DVS shoes, but not every cassette. I do own two pairs of the keirin convicts though...I never thought I'd do that.
Yeah, it's just budgeting. I bought boards from myles, there's another one I want from someone else...we have to make choices and live with them. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
