Well I'm no pro, but this is what I know: Grabbing the board is not a necessity to land your jump. Just bend your knees BEFORE and WHILE you're on the kicker, the rest should flow... The board is probably slipping away because your legs are too straight while you're on the kicker. Once you leave the top of the kicker, suck up your knees and keep looking at your landing spot (ahead) not your board (down)... Try this first, then try grabs

What has helped me when hitting rails with a wakeskate, and even a wakeboard, is just keeping my weight even over my board, until I am sliding smoothly on the top of the rail, after I got through that part, I just keep my weight even (I do boardslides, no 5050's) and balance (hitting them on wakeboards made it ALOT easier) and just concentrate on coming off, which is what I have trouble with, coming off the side, making it to the end is easier, from my experience's.

LOL, ya.

Ok, for kickers, I havnt been landing them consistently for a long time, but can land them. What helps me is too just bend my knees, and keep my weight even...it helps to suck your knee's up. It also helps me to have a wide stance.

Try to learn them on a wakeboard first, it'll get you used to how the kicker feels under your feet. Keeping myself centered over the board was the hardest part for me but when I tried this it helped.

i think its just on a wakeskate you know you have to suck up your legs at stuff to keep it on your feet so for the first time you actually do better
