I just watched this master piece.
Fantastic film that is a true work of art.

It was visually good to watch but there is something very over produced and over funded about it that I didn't dig.
Makes it seem very exclusive and I can't really relate to it.
My favourate vid has always been picture this. They didn't need 2 helicopters, a plane and million dollars to make a film you can't stop watching.

stack, good point. This is a big budget film that shouldn't be compared to the average snowboard vid.

Normally my favs are the vids that think thank or Videograss put out. The Art of Flight is nothing like that but I still enjoyed it.

Thats it Thats all and art of the flight are meant to be a little more artsy. Another thing is in most videos it's all street and terrain park stuff. Big backcountry riding doesn't get enough exposure and credit as it should because it's just as hard if not harder then what all the park rats do.

bmr712, i wouldn't say Art of Flight is more artistic than the VG Movies, or even Familia 2 for that matter, maybe it has a more "beautiful" look, or produced and calculated.

And backcountry does get the right exposure, go pick up the new Absinthe movie, its just not everywhere, and its good, im sick of lapping park vids.. backcountry is on a whole different level than park, those riders are amazing..

yee i caught the premiere in boulder. So sick! i had watched it a couple time on my mac book but 100X better in the theater!

Defenders of Awesome is great.
Scott Stevens part is mind blowing and some of the guys that I haven't heard of had very impressive parts.
