The belt broke on my torque converter today and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a new one. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it's a bullet lines torque converter. I know ridiculouswinches.com sells belts, but I don't really want to pay $45 for one. Thanks.
you can get them at almost any autoparts store... If you bring the belt with you they can get the comet part number of the belt and cross reference it to another brand belt such as Dayco or Gates and possibly a generic.
just be sure to inspect the belt they give you carefully because everyone makes mistakes and sometimes you get an idiot behind the counter.
