check your throttle adjuster, the little knob that turns and increases the RPMs, sometimes the can get stuck...... |

try hooking the throttle linkage right up to the carb. when i removed mine on my briggs, i just hooked the throtle rod right to the carb. easy and simple to do. |

Get on affordable go karts.com. They have throttle linkage kit for the removal of governors on these engines. Think it around 14$. I had to do this on my Honda gx200. It also required minimal mods to the throttle lever mechanism. Dremel tool makes it a quick job. _________________ Without water one cannot live.

your throttle is wide open, that's a common problem for your first gov removal _________________ ☆PHOENIX WINCH☆
