they are lighter but not as light as you think. You need some weight to keep the board coming up to your feet. Mostly Mutinys construction of materials is crazy awesome.

Due to the construction process, I believe the weight was a standard wakeskate weight (~7 lbs). The carbon fiber was basically used for strength...I won't say a whole lot more...if he wants to talk about it he can come on here and say what he wants. Oh yeah, the deck would cost like 1000.00, I was about 500.00 off.

i have seen a carbo fiber cassette it wasnt made buy cassette but it was the exact same demensions at a 43 concavei cat say anyhting more about it ask the persons whos it is. he ran over it with his truck though so its jacked now and it HEAVY but some good flip tricks have been done on it. IT was VERRY EXPENSIVE TO MAKE

It wasn't like 100% carbon was it ? That would be very expencive.
Carbon fibers are usually used in sandwich constructions.
I don't know if wakeboard manufacturers use carbon in their constructions.
I have used one way carbon fibres in the bottom of my wakeboards to eliminate flex.

I think it will double in coverage. I hope to see some mags made only for wakeskating, maybe a couple of new companies, a lot more video so the riders will be able to focuse only on freeriding and not so much on the tour. This sport has so much potential

Look how much it has growin already. Just from Byrely doin a shuv it on mayday to full wakeskate movies. So many more companys to push the board construction and also drop prices.
