Is Volume Wakeskates Dead?

I have one more video due on a yearly Volume Wakeskate mag subscription. It's been pretty quiet on their end for quite some time. Are they done or what? Does anyone on here have any inside scoop?

I have heard nothing about Volume #8. I even checked with Sidewayz and they have no information on Number 8 either.

I talked to Scott Byerly at the Byerly bus tour last may and asked him about it. He told me they were holding off on them for a bit or possibly not making anymore of them, he also mentioned something about George Daniels injury ahving something to due with delay on production of the last latest issue. That was 5 months ago and things might have changed between now and then though - just my 2 cents

They have my money too. I have emailed Kim several times over the last year and I have got no response. It would be nice to get $40 back but I'm not sweating it if I don't. What really gets to me is the fact they know who paid in advance for their videos and yet they don't care enough to let us know what they have planned.

they took your money and ran. actually, that sucks. i really enjoyed the videos. same thing happened to me a few years back when i subscribed to this skim mag for 50 bucks. got one issue then they just stopped.

I subscribed to that wakeskating magazine a few years back and never received an issue. It happens to the best of us.

i never even received vol. 7 after subscribing to a 3 year, and after repeated attempts to make ammends, i was ignored. i was so excited by these video mags, they we're really happening and i do miss them. hope they can pull together and get back on the horse. they we're kind a like oxygen for the life blood of wakeskating. keep it alive B!

just rewatched 7 a few hours ago...maaan, volume needs to keep going...made so well and so fun to watch
