yeah ive had a board since january and i can only ollie 180 but i havent practiced all the time and ive done a few sex changes but i cant get kickflips so if you have tips please give some

ok kickflips.....just ollie high, tilt your foot in, kick the nose of your board, catch high and land...just like that

ride every day any free moment, just like wakeskating, BTW kickflips are a breakthrough trick, they are hard at first, but once you learn those you'll progress really fast until frontsideflips, another break through, but yeah, a good smooth sylish ollie is the first step, try to learn all your tricks switch nollie and fakie at the same time it helps you later alot, for example don't move past the ollie till you can do all 4 of them, it helped me a friggin grip

i cant "catch" thats my only problem i can only catch it with my back foot so i go to se change instead of regular kick has this happend to anyone?

Practice, practice, practice. Do the same tricks over and over until you land them. And then do them until you are comfortable and consistent. And then keep doing it. Weird fact, I could 180 a 6 stair before I could kickflip on flatground. I seriously hated flat ground skating in my earlier years of skating, it still isn't really my cup of tea though I've slowly come to enjoy it.

try to skate all thtime and have patience because getting mad because you cant do a trick is stupid.
