Man, I went way out of my way to collect all of the early snow videos I could, like classic whitey, FLF and mack dawg shizzle. This was one of those classics I had to get, but the one FLF vid I still need is road kill. greg nelson has some wakeboarding in that one. Schmaltz is in an early FLF vid called rides on the storm. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I'm the exact same way. The last new film I bought was probably follow me around, and I watched it maybe 2 times. I did like the mountain lab DVD by Dc...I think a lot of that riding is inspiring because it's creative. Nowadays I just dont' have an interest in "modern" snowboarding, in that the size of the jumps and whatever else is not what I relate to or care about. it's not accessible, I guess.
So that's why I like the older videos (or liked them). Mack dawg has some of my favorite stuff, just from the two forum team videos, decade and upping the ante...those are my favorites by far.
One really cool vid that I'm psyched to own is called C&C underground. It's the very first film by whitey but you never hear about it, ever. What's better is my oakley rep is in it--Jason Gerardi (Aka J1). _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
