hey has neone heard the new cd? i just bought it and it sounds pretty good

i love it. my favorite song is boulevard of broken dreams and i really like holiday too. jesus of suburbia has some good parts in there too.

I like the cd a lot. One problem I noticed though is that they repeat a lot of their lyrics in different songs. I think there are like two ro three songs that say "Jesus of suburbia" in them. Killer tunes though.

If you are interested in a real concept album...check out The Mars Volta.

The entire album (De-Loused In The Comatorium) is about a friend of the band who killed himself, and the thoughts that went through his head leading up to his scuicide. The lyrics seem almost non-sensical...but if you take the time to try and understand every word, you'll realize that it all makes perfect sense....kinda like a Shakespeare play.

Example: "The am trinity fell upon asphyxia-derailed" --- roughly translated, you could interpret that to be something like --- early one morning, he woke up and found himself gasping for air.

In fact their lyrics are so interesting...that there is an entire website dedicated to interpreting their meanings. http://www.thecomatorium.com/

This music is definitely not for everyone…but if you are into music that makes you think and you want to try listening to something that will probably never be played on any mainstream radio station…then they are worth a listen.

It’s the only band in my entire life that I have purchased their CD twice because I wore the first one out from excessive use.
