frye drawing pics, stupid or not stupid isn't something you can jsut do. You need your inspiration from something.

Chris41, maybe the reason they dont kickflip off is because its real hard to do a flip trick off of a drop from a board slide. Of course you could do a 50-50 but its to hard to get your pop from any where. How often is it you see a pro skater kickflip from a board slide? Not often, but you always see them doing them from other grinds.

Yeah 3ft I dont think you could fit a kickflip nor heel flip. Just normal shuvits on a skateboard anyway are hard enough of board slide.

you need some sort of pop to do the kickflip at the end of the table... i've tried it before a couple of times and the board would flip once but would shoot down in the water

I've seen Jayme Fortune kickflip out of a tail slide before. But thats the only time I've seen any one flip out of a slide (except for a dark slide). Ive heard people of kick flipping from board slides, and i've tried it but I got no where.

no dave i mean alot of people say that skateboardings dumb and stuff and i know that they both contribute to wakeskateing but like the flip trick portion is from skateboarding and i just think that people should be able to do both and it would just be more practicle,,,,,,,,,,i neaver ment anything aganst people who dont skateboard because alot of riders are really good and dont skateboard but only wakeskate

almost every board sport has tricks that originate from skateboarding. i.e. the ollie, flips, shuvs, grabs, 180's, 360's etc. you can thank mullen, hawk, caballero, hosoi, gator, kaupus, and more.

just about all the skateboard pros are flipping out of grinds and slides. pj tailslide 270 flip out is sic. mccrank backlip flip out down a handrail. crazy! wakeskate wise someone was getting close to riding away on a flip out off a boardslide in asterisk.

i could see a heelflip happening on a wakeskate but until there's some serious changes in wakeskate board designs then tricks like this and 360 flips and hardflips and the like are going to be extremely hard.
im thinking a frontside shuv heel might give you a better chance of flipping the board with your heel, but i'm not saying its gonna be easy.

that was mcguckin getting close in asterisk, and if you watch the outtakes of snap at the end, grubb lands a kickflip out of a 50-50 up a rail. pretty nice.

In regards to the original heelflip question I've been experimenting on the trampoline lately I realize it's not the water but the motion of flipping the board is similar, I live in Ca. and don't get to ride more than once every two weeks it seems to me the best way I got it to work was a really weird motion not at all how I do them on my skateboard; which is a standard ollie with alot of kick to toeside I sorta do an ollie and pull my front foot up and smack the ball of my heel on the highest part of the toeside concave I guess it would sorta be like cocking your kick like a gun if ya know what I mean, I don't know if this will be any help, but good luck none the less

i think the only way to do a heelflip is ts off the wake cause i no alot of people have trouble getting it to flip completly on a skateboard. skateboarding the deck is much skniier and eaiser to slide you feet. so i think the only way is ts mob heelflip.
