Maybe kick it more toward the nose instead of off to the side? |

yea thats the problem, if you dont skateboard youll think the heelflip will be like the mob kickflip, just kicked down, not out, so youll do that when your trying heelflips too. And im pretty sure your not gonna have much control mobbing a heelsflip, theres gonna have to be some foot sliding action to make it spin properly and with control _________________ Can't eat at McDonald's every day - Shannon Hoon |

Yeah like wakesk8r9610 said and i like to have my front foot a couple on inches in front of my back foot (like 8 or so) and like give it a little boot (looks like im doing the can-can in mid air ). This way ive found gives me the most rotation. But a skate is probably different and to be honest, i cant wakeskate very good so yeah my info probably wont be useful. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Fredrick_Eisenhauer, if you can do it on a skateboard its usefull info becuase i cant do anything on the skateboard and it all crosses over somewhat. so let me make sure i get this right. i want to have my foot more to where my heel is in the middle of the board, i want to pop it outt of the water and kick down and up the nose and out to the side all at once? and if its kicking away i want to kick down more? is that correct/? _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |

Nah dont kick it towards the nose, kick it out perpundicular to the board. Also really exagerate (s/p?) hanging your foot over the board. I like have 2/3 of my heel of the board, but some people have differnent styles with this so try different ones. Make sure you start the flip in the air (obviously) because if you dont it goes in between your legs hard flip fashion and yeah could do some damage... but if you could land it like that it would be sweet. Once it starts to spin bring your legs up so they dont screw up the flip bring them over the board and stomp it. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Yeah, I don't know F.E. (didn't feel like spelling out the whole name); I can do pretty good heelflips on a skateboard (they're one of the few flip tricks that I can do really well) and mine always work best when I kick it straight off the nose. Of course, it could be completeley different on a wakeskate, so I'm not really sure how you'd do it, but kicking it off the nose definitely helps to prevent rackage, if you know what I mean... |

i dont think you should flip it off the nose cause then it would go down. |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking kinda, since you're on a wakeskate instead of a skateboard. All I know is that on a normal skateboard, kickflips and heelflips work WAY better when you flick your foot right off the nose. |

ya but on a wakeskate i think you would ahve to kick it alot harder beacause its wider and heavier so i dont no if u should flick it as much. |
