Most 50 dollar decks are a complete waste of 20 dollars- that is put into the expensive paint job. Some companies like Element and Black Label (made in the same factory) have fancy construction techniques that make the board stronger. Consolidated makes decks for around 40 dollars that can take an effin beating.

Cablerider, you mean cheap as in they suck or cheap as in pricewise? Do tell, I've been riding them on and off for about four years now and have had problems with delamming only if I had been riding it in the rain...

Haha neither do I anymore, way back in the day when I was in maybe eighth grade it rained every day for what seemed like months, and I just gave up and skated like there was nothing different. Bad stuff happens to your board when it gets wet, now I'll string curse words and wipe my board off with my clothes if I roll through a puddle or anything.

I bought my last deck off ebay. All said and done, i bought a brand new pro model board for $20 CDN....Including shipping. The board was $12 and the S&H was $8. The board was still in is shrink wrap. I've only ridden in about half a dozen times...and i must say, i really lucked out, becuase it's an awesome deck. Amazing pop...and perfect dimensions for my style of riding. Plus, this deck is hard to find at a retail store. Its a Lee Pioha

take a look on ebay...
