my dad owns a company with a huge parking lot so in the winter we would take all the snow and take it out of the parking lot with a big ass truck and dump it in my back yard and make a little snow skate park. it was sweet at one time i had like 2 different jumps, a picknic table, and a rail. i we didnt get into flip tricks or anything, just shovits n grabs n stuff but it was sweet

In winter time, I really like to ski. Almost every week-end.
We have a lot of snowparks and boarder-cross here.
I'll definitely try snowskating this year.

last winter i had a big snowskate park in my front yard w/ 5 different runs. i got a real snowskate, the one with the ski on the bottom of it, for my b-day in march. but didnt really get to use it cuz the snow is hard to pack. but i have the regular ones. im gonna take the real one up to a ski resort and use it. they r aloud cuz it has metal edges and a leash.

You guys definitely need to check out one of the skates with the ski on it, I have a Burton Junkyard and it is badass. You can actually carve around on it because of the edges, I was taking that sucker down whole runs after a while. Once you get going pretty fast it becomes a bit of a death trap considering you only have 2 and a half feet of edge to try to stop with, but it is dam fun. I actually took my skate in the park last winter too, and that was fun as hell. I would hit the big air on it, and you just like float across the table. You pretty much have to try to grab the thing right after you launch, and then try to get your feet back on it before you hit the landing. Even if you don't land, you just bail and it is fun as hell.

I've got a Burton Junkyard Dog too. It rocks. I love taking runs down the mountain with it. It's like switching from wakeboarding to wakeskating. I recommend it. Although some mountains aren't too cool about letting you on the lift. Most of the places I ride in NC are cool but they wouldn't let me on at Snowshoe WV.

wakesk8ordie, where do you snowskate?
