Just try it, the worst that happens is you don't make it.
You have to have inner self confidence or you'll never make it.

(brownypiesrule), ride as much as you can on your wakeskate and when you're not on it, do any boardsport that you can. it'll help a lot.

take it slow, but dont be afraid to go for stuff, its just water Smash

also, i inserted a name for you Twisted Evil

This might sound hard to believe because you still have some fear about falling but the more you fall, the more confidence you will get because you will realise that it's really not that bad at all, especially with basic tricks. As you progress and try more complicated tricks and start to ride faster, the falls get a little worse but as you prgress, you learn to deal with them better, so they still are't really as bad as you might imagine them to be. Most bad injuries occur when people ride outside of their ability or are too tired.
For your 180, just make sure that you don't burry the toe or heel edge (depending which way you spin) and you will turn around effortlessly. You might want to try just turning the board 90 degrees at first too and just riding sideways to get your balance right and build your confidence. When you are happy doing this, try and go for the full 180. The best thing you can do though is try it. You will fall and you will see that it doesn't really hurt at all and you'll get right up and try again without the fear.
