i can't kicky, but looks like you need to slow down on your edge out, flatten out a little before trying it, you're throwing on edge and too quick, just slow the trick down a little and stay over that beach as she comes around

Nomad, Gnarly Dancer 42 shreds. You should look for any older vids of him riding his 4-trac. He's just having some difficulty adjusting to his new wakeskate.

It looks to me like it was basically floating away from your feet, especially on that last maneuver. Was wind a factor or anything?

maybe try sitting outside the wake right at the base sorta at re entry area, then make a slightly slower progressive edge out into the flats, Flatten offf, square up ur shoulders, and pop, make sure you let ur tail come out of the water and flick or kick however you feel. just make sure your square and center over the board when you pop

Nomad, it's underdstandable. His flip trick attempts on that wakeskate don't really do justice to his riding.

Gnarly Dancer 42, I'm not an expert on the maneuver because I haven't even tried one on a wakeskate, but you look like you need to relax and not muscle through the maneuver so much. I guess I'd call it "grace" but I also imagined people kind of laughing at that. You know you can do that trick...you just look like you're trying really hard on that wakeskate. And looking at that vid again, I think everyone else is right about flattening off because it's like you're going for the trick almost right off of your edge.

Have you ever tried just stopping and thinking about what it takes to do that maneuver and trying to build better board control? Don't take that comment the wrong way, but I know that when I went from my bi-level to the 4-trac, I had to slow down my trick initiation. It was a really good thing for me to switch boards and really get used to something else for awhile because it made me really look at what goes into the tricks I do, and what I need to do to not only pop them on that 4-trac (again, coming from the bi-level), but keep them consistent. I don't even know if all of that makes sense to you...it's hard to describe what I'm really thinking beyond what I've said. Shocked I just mean to think and actually understand the trick...sort of applying a mental side to your riding.

And Gnarly Dancer 42, the compliment is totally true! Keep it up.

you are leaning too far toeside when you pop

it looks like you have a pretty short rope which can make you do that

you are kicking the board behind you too, you might be catching too much of your foot on the board, and thatll happen when you lean too far ts too

relax a little while trying it too

good luck bud, dont give up

move your front foot further forward and take a slow edge out just past the white wash, then pop it

people got to stop just assuming what to do. don't tell people how to do a trick you can't even do. but put your foot farther forward on the board and slant in kind of until you get used to the way it flips
