This is what an impossible looks like on a skateboard.

http://www.tonybailey.com/tommy/tommy6.MPG

Greg, your impossible start off too much like a shuvit 3. A couple look like impossibles at the second half of the trick, but the first half it looks like it's going to much around and not straight over enough. Good work on those though, just try to make the board flip straight back more and you will have a really good impossible.

That video worked for me but the quality sucks. Anyone know of a better quality video, maybe with the trick in slow motion?

sorry to kinda ruin it all, but those dont really look like impossibles, more like 360 shuvs. The second looks the most like one at most, but the look of them isn't the same but whatever. And that skateboarding clip also doesn't look like an impossible, just a 360 shuv but it was hard to tell cuz the clip is all laggy, i could be wrong

impossible's don't really flip. you wrap them around your foot, using your foot to wrap it. it's more like a sideway's 360 shove-it(the board on it's side, like primo), but your foot should never leave the board.
some skaters' impossibles make more of end over end rotation, but thats not the true way to do it.

a couple of them look close Very Happy now try a front foot impossible Twisted Evil

Impossibles can be kind of an iffy trick (like some people's hardflips); just make sure it wraps around your foot and doesn't do a 360-shuvit, and you'll be fine.

to everyone saying that its sweet thanks and to everyone saying its a 360 shovit then ok fine i suck but i know how to do a 360 shovit and its no where near the same thing. and when i f*ck it up the board does a 360 shovit and there is a big difference in the bad ones and the good ones. those are not the best ones i have done, just decent ones. and anyone with any sugestions on how to make it look better or how to land it please tell me. thanks

On a skateboard, I just make sure I scoop the board forward (the way I'm riding) instead of off to the side. That way it flops over instead of spinning backside like a shuvit. Then, when it's halfway around, just guide it the rest of the way with your back foot and put your front foot back on when it's almost done rotating. Oh yeah, and I think it helps if you make the last half more of a horizontal rotation, more like a shuvit.

well when i first started trying them i did more of the right way then and then that day that we were shooting video i was trying to do them with my foot more off to the side of the board (just seeing what worked better) and the stuff on video was more of what you are saying is the wrong way. ill go back to the other way of doing them. and what do you mean by makeing the last half more of a horizontal rotation?
and thanks for the tips man im sure it will help
