i am new to wakeskating but i USED to be a great skateboarder and i was especially good at shuv its. but on the wake skate every time i try, i always wipe out. about 2 or 3 times i landed on the board but i still crashed backwards.

please help!

Im sorta in the same spot as you, but have been landing them better now. I figured out, Pop the board forward some, make sure you drop back hand, spin board in control, and bend your knees a bit when you land! Seems to help me.
I also usually edge out and go through the prosess in my head and just kinda do the motion without poping or letting the board out, and then take another run at it and pull it. Seems to help with confidence!
Also I usually talk to myself and tell my self "I got this" It works ever once in a while, but i usually just get lucky Smash But it helps with the mental part of it!

same thing keeps happenen to me.

and even when i do finally get a good landing where i dont slide out i get so excited that i get squirley and i fall foward anyways. Smash

make sure the handle is tight to your waist. helps keep your body forward...

ride5, Yeah i just saw the trick tip on alliance were it said that. Hopefully that will help.

BTW im landing about 1/2 of them. Feeels goood!

How high do you need to ollie to have a chance to land these? I start playing with them last weekend for the first time and I got about 90 degrees no problem. Curious if I need more height or just more umph on the rotation.
