well I don't see how an indy tantrum on a skate would be lame!!
I hope we'll soon see more and more inverted tricks on our little crazy boards _________________

I don't think it would be lame, not really the direction i see wakeskating going in but it would be cool to know it could be done _________________ ow thats gonna hurt tomorrow |

"Wakeskating is not about quantification, it's about interpretation..." I think indy tantrum belongs in the wakeboard scene but it's all about personal aspects. It's like in skateboarding, most inverts belongs to the vert skaters. In my opinion, genuine, technical streetskating is way more fun to watch. I read an old WBM issue from 1998. The editor wrote that: "...wakeskating is what we make of it..." I rather push it to the "tech" direction than to the world of inverts.... _________________ _____________________________

Once a tantrum is achieved you could do so many tricks. Indy Whirly, Indy T 2 blind, Indy T 2 revert (or add a grab of your choice there). It would be cool. I dont think they would be achievable for a few more years but it can happen. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Ha ha, so he actually used two skates? Like rode up the kicker with one in his hand while riding a different one, busted a tantrum and then placed the skate in his hand under his feet, leaving the other one just fall? _________________ death before dishonor.

Rob, in my mind i dont see myself pushing anything in any direction, i just go out to have fun not to make a sport go in a direction. itd be lame if i had to folow rules of how to progress a sport and i wouldnt go ride probably if i had to folow rules. thats most of the reason i like these sports, no one tells me what to do and not to do. but i guess if i am "pushing" the sport i am also trying to do more tech tricks too. im not like in real videos or any mags so im not a "real pro wakeskater" im just greg and if i ever do get into any of those things itd be sweet but id still just be me and go ride to have fun and not to make something happen. _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |

Greg, I didn't mean to diss u, but everyone seems to have an oppinion about inverts on wakeskates. My personal oppinion is that I don't like to see wakeskating progress towards inverts but what a hell, people are free to do what they want and ride the way they want to ride. I've seen people grab their boards after a boardslide on a rail, how ugly isn't that?! (personal oppinion again...)"Indy whirly"!?! Hope I'll never see that trick in real life...... Like I quoted: "wakeskating is what we make of it..." _________________ _____________________________

WHat would be wrong with an indy whirly? Since skating and wakeskating are sort of the same would you want a Mctwist done? _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

I hate the name Mctwist so much, seriously. It sounds like a McDonald's milkshake or something. |
