I've snowskated for three years. I have a whole bunch of decks, including a burton bi-level. I have ridden pretty much every snowskate on the market...and the bi-level is the best (the burton ones...not the solomon ones). I was concerned that it might not slide well on rails...but it was no problems. The thing that sucks about the solomon skates is that the snow-blade on the bottom hangs out past the end of the top deck. With the burton decks the bottom deck is much shorter, and it feels more like a skateboard and it has better pop. And it is much easier to flip. Premier is one of the best flat decks...and i like the lamar decks as well...they aren't bad |

I snowskated for a season and it was pretty fun we used to make jumps on our hills and do trix off of them, I landed kickflip of this cool ramp we made and we had a skateboard rail so we hit that, i like it because its really easy to do trix, me and brothers varielfliped like the first hour |

I definately beg to differ...i have seen some pretty crazy stuff done on a snowskate. The last snowskate i got was a premier fortrus, and it came with a DVD, and i couldnt believe some of the stuff that was being thrown down. There is something cool about snowskating in my opinion....and that is the fact that it is only something that people "mess" around with, as you put it. No one particularily snowskates with a motive...a motive to be sponsored, or to compete, or even to be really good. People who snowskate do it because it is fun and they enjoy it. As far as it being lame because you "cant do much" i think that is not acurate. If snowskating truly is "lame," its not for that reason. |

i have a burton and go on the hill in my back yard, it sis fun to screw around with and have fun, but i consider it more like an a fun activity then a real board sport.
although i respect anyone who doees it for real, so dont junp on my back. _________________ ride a lunch tray

snowskating is the best when your at a resort and your done snowboarding for the day and you go screw around in the village or something but its not worth wasting a day of snowboarding for. YOu would be suprised of some of the stuff people can do on them now though like kickflip front boards down handrails and boardslide bigflip out. Its pretty crazy, deffinatly buy a premier though especially if your in an area that doesnt have alot of snow _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

Its good to see all of you kids that snowskate, we have alot of love for you. and keep it up. We would like to reccomend Premier before the other guys skate... But either way keep having fun. The snowskate was never really meant to be something that would replace snowboarding, it was just pure fun and you can do it anywhere you have snow.
The new Premier Bi-level decks now offer the option to take off the top deck and ride it... so its really two boards in one. _________________ arson-wake.com |

i snowboard a lot in the winter and snowskate some. it is really not meant for ollies and stuff. in fact theyt are easier to kickflip then to just plain ollie. we have really awesome welded rails anbd shizzle up hear for snowboarding, which is sick, but when the day gets late and we've already gotten our asses beaten hard enough on a snowbaord we like to pull out the skates and hit snowboarding rails which is really fun.snowskates are fun, but its just to mess around with. |

JP Walker who is the creater of the premier snowskate says it something to mess around with but nothing that can even compare to that of snowboarding due to u cant go big on them and cant do crazy long rails on them and cant go fast. _________________ www.norcalwake.com |
