Honestly, the lowest I can take is $220. That's more than fair. _________________

OK, then it will be $200 plus shipping which should be between $10-15 if I ship it USPS priority mail. _________________

High price tag?? How much was your skate new????? My Integrity was over $300 and I used it THREE TIMES. There was an 03 4-trac from Cassette used for 1 SEASON on ebay a week ago that sold for $112, a little over $100 off of the retail price new, AND THAT SKATE IS 2 YEARS OLD. _________________

Yeah, have to say that the high price tag comment is bull poop. 200.00 is less than you'll pay for any other wakeskate out there--new. And the integrity is better than a lot of those boards...
Anyway, I think I'd give ebay a shot. If you're leery, just set a reserve. Good luck! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

electricsnow, i dont think he was saying 200 dollars was a rip off or anything, i think he was just pointing out that 200 dollars is a lot of money. Yeah yeah its a great board and i agree thats an awesome price, but for students and such, 200 bucks ia lot and id love an integrity right now but i dont have that money lying around, if i did i would def. do it. _________________ JMU |

yeah man i didnt mean it's a bad price for an integrity... I paid a helluva lot more than that counting shipping and customs. The thing is, Integrity's are super expensive. Worth it, yes, but still VERY pricy. If you can get a K-39 for like $50 new, some people wonder why you'd pay 200 for a used and slightly scratched board. Put it up on ebay and I guarantee someone will buy it for a good price - I would have if I didnt get mine already _________________ www.sattelyte.com

Then that was my misunderstanding and I apologize for it. But sadly enough, the tone of this thread didn't give me any hope to believe otherwise. I just think some of the hassling he got for his price was lame because price setting is his choice, and if he needs to get a certain amount from it to pay for something else (or what have you), then so be it.
As for the cost, it's a funny thing. I was out riding and everybody else was wakeboarding...you know, hype set-ups: they byerly board, belmont bindings, etc. You know, high end stuff. Anyway, they looked at the board and said it looked really nice blah blah blah, how much did you pay? and I kind of got some looks when I said it was 275.00. I told them about all of the benefits of this construction, etc. but I thought about it, and why should I care about judgements from people that pay 400.00 for rubber and plastic/metal? Seriously....It's funny though. It really is about how serious you are about riding. Obviously, some just buy the most expensive set-up regardless, but for others it is about high performance gear.
But I'd still like to get a kampus at some point because they're different...and it's unbelievable what has gone down on those k-39's this past year...
I like that the "high performance" (and/or high durability) stuff is there for the taking, but at the same time, the k-39 kind of breaks all of the rules (or it has broken all of the rules)...I don't know, I'll stop now.... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
