wow. i guess LF concave 41's do delaminate also. i got mine last friday, and used it saturday and tuesday. i had to cut sessions short tuesday, because i noticed the bottom ply coming off. i had even polyurethaned and marine sealed it. i think im going to try to repair it and get as much use out of it i can, but at this point im not sure wood is the way to go, or at least LF's wood. maybe the new cassettes won't delam.
Anyway, just thought i'd put it out there the LF concaves are delamming just as the tech 42's.

satori*, that sucks thats the first I've heard of a concave doing that, sorry to hear it, but you should try to make LF warranty it.

ive been skating my concave forty one since the end of june and i never super sealed it or anything i just rode it as is. The paint on the edges has chipped a bit but other than that its fine. I have a fealing more than half of you guys out there who complain about delaming aren't taking care of there boards. Yes there will be some exceptions but basically dont leave it in the sun and have it dry standing up and all will be good.

The Pavement 3.6 and kento911, i am going to send it back, but i am repairing it so i can get as much use as possible before it becomes unridable. my friend sent back his tech 42 over a month ago and still hasnt gotten anything back.

Catalyst, i think some are just bad eggs. but i seriously have used the board twice, never hit any obstacles, and kept it in my room when i wasnt using it. and on the second time riding, i could fit my fingers between the plys.

i just got done repairing the skate. i glued up the hole and ive been polyurethaning the rails once a day building up layers. and today i put a thick layer of resin/epoxy all around it. there is absolutely no way i can see that this will delam, i don't think it could be cut open with a hattori hanzo.

I really dont notice a difference when I set up for like a shuv or something like that... I was getting tired of them falling off the bottom so I put them on the top.... I just dont want my skate looking like everyone elses so I make it custom and ya it stands out when im riding it or even walking to the dock... sorry I didn't know I couldn't put a non sponsor sticker on my board Rolling Eyes

Does anyone know how to keep your board from waterlogging? I know Catalyst, said don't leave it in the sun, and don't let it dry standing up. Is that it because I took care of my board the only thing I did'nt do is not leave it dry standing up. The reason I'm asking this is because if I don't get an Integrity I will get a 05 Cassette and I wan't to keep it good for a while. Maybe it's because I got a bad LF but the same thing happended to my Kampus. Help would be very appriciated.
