CONTEST PASS RULES:

Each contestant will be judged on a start to finish expression session. A ride consists of a two pass run. The run starts once the rider passes the first buoy. When the rider reaches the second buoy, the boat will turn around. The ride ends when the rider reaches the end-buoy or after the 2nd fall, whichever comes first. Once your pass ends you will be picked up and transported back to land via a jet ski.

JUDGING:

Subjective scoring on a scale from 0-10 will be awarded in each of the following categories.

(EXECUTION) This reflects the level of technical difficulty and perfection of each trick performed, as well as the successful completion of the entire run with a minimum amount of falls.

(INTENSITY) This reflects the degree of performance to which each trick performed in terms of how big and fluid, as well as the overall performance of the run.

(COMPOSTION) This reflects the overall style of the run in terms of the rider’s ability to perform a variety of tricks in a flowing, creative sequence.

The judges will be looking at everything in your run. Keep moving, and try every trick you can do…even if they are easy ones. Mix it up and try to avoid repeating tricks. Impress the judges with your style.

Re-rides will be granted only if there was an obvious disadvantage to a rider from a controllable cause.

DIVISION RULES:

(BEGINNER CLASS) One wake jumps, wake to wake jumps, wake to wake grabs, surface 180’s and wake to wake 180’s are allowed. One wild card trick at the end of your run is permitted. The wild card trick is something you are working on but have not landed yet.

(INTERMEDIATE CLASS) Three inverts or less are allowed. Mobe inverts, spins beyond 360’s or inverts to blind are not allowed.
