Is the Gate heavier than the Catalysts?

I own a Gate, and I've been happy with it. I was comparing the weight between my Gate and my girlfriend's K41 that she won here. The K41 is not dramatically heavier than my Gate... I was under the impression that everyone hated the Gate because it was so light? (among other reasons) Yeah, the K41 is a lot more dense as all wood decks are, but its not a lot heavier. Can anyone tell me if the Gate is heavier than the Catalyst line? Just curious

Everyone hates the gate becasue its a POS.

Just Kidding...The surface area of it make the board to small for some people to ride.

Have you ever read that hyperlite sticker on the bottom of brand new Gates that describes the board? I read it the other day and laughed my ass off. I wish I could find it online somewhere or remember what exactly it said.

I like the Hyperlite wakeboards, not so sure about the skates. Does every here totally anti everything hyperlite or just their skates?

Would it be possible to create a new Forum folder for Hyperlite bashing? That way we can all log on to General Wakeskating to actually read some constructive things about wakeskating... Rolling Eyes

hyperlite riders are good, their wakeboards are good, their wakesurfs suck (i dont really think they care), their love for the sport isnt comparable to their love for the $$, the taiwanese sweat shops they manufacture with are in decent shape, their skates blow, and i dont support them as a company...

nollies off the d-up are cool vance idk what ur talkin about Rolling Eyes
