I used belt sander, then palm sander, then by hand.
weight 6lbs
and diff color

i used 2 diff types of wood.

hey im from OZ and a mate and i made a wakeboard, we made up a whole metal press and my dad works in the timber industry so got timber free and glue as well. would we be able to use the same moulds. eg rocker moulds?? because if thats the case we will make 10 or so in december.

for the concave part u only put 3 cut outs of wood? did u just build up resin and sand to get it even and smooth?

This is a guy who built his own wakeboard with a foam core.....would be the same for a skate....except the binding....duh! The fiberglassing bit will help you I think!!

Yeah man thats the cool thing about resin, you can just sand it down to how you like it. Ive never glassed a board before but Ive patched countless holes in boards (surfboards) and you pretty much sand and clean the area so there is no debris and pour the stuff on. Once you mold it to your liking let dry and sand it down...

Are you gonna keep the bottom wood? Or you gonna just fiberglass the foam?
Looking at the ruff surface....you want to wacht out you don't trap any big airbubbles in between the fiberglass and the foam......
